Our Story
Plumbstar Ltd was founded in 2018 by Petru Vicicu, a Gas Safe engineer working across Kent since 2015. What started as a one-van operation is now a small family-run team based in Maidstone, keeping ME, TN and CT postcodes warm, dry and safe. We install and service boilers, run gas jobs and CP12s, refit bathrooms, and put in air conditioning – all in-house, all with the paperwork done properly. Gas Safe registered 602922 on unvented hot water, for refrigerant work, and Companies House registered 11263677.
Straight service, no slogans
We turn up as promised, quote what we mean, and back our own workmanship for 12 months. The company you call is the company that quotes, does the work, and answers when you need us back — no middlemen, no subcontracted strangers on your doorstep.
Our engineers work across domestic plumbing, gas, heating and air conditioning – from a dripping tap in Loose to a full bathroom refit in Bearsted or an AC commissioning in Aylesford. Gas Safe notifications are filed, Benchmark logs completed, manufacturer warranties registered — so the paperwork is there when you sell, let or claim.
How it started
Plumbstar Ltd was registered on 20 March 2018 (Companies House 11263677), and Petru has held Gas Safe registration 602922 continuously since then. The team is qualified to work on unvented hot water systems systems and gas, for air conditioning and refrigerant work, and fully insured – public liability, employer’s liability and product cover. Paperwork-first, because that is what protects you if something ever goes wrong.

Started fitting Vaillant boilers — new boilers now registered on your behalf for the full manufacturer warranty.
